Installed hardware resides still in your computer. Not installed is a chip or card in your hand.
(The identification of installed hardware is only possible if at least the computer performs
a boot and is able to run a basic OS such as DOS. Otherwise please try to get as much
information as possible on your hardware [retail box, manual, ...] and use identification
of uninstalled hardware.)
